The “LU.ME. Lucca Metalmeccanica” project rates among the top 30 virtuous businesses on a national level. Federmeccanica (the Italian Federation of Metalworking Industries) attested this within the national research entitled “Progetto relazioni interne” (Internal Relations Project) performed in partnership with Ernst & Young, acknowledging the Lucca initiative that unites 11 companies belonging to Confindustria Toscana Nord (General Confederation of Italian Industry) involved in the metalworking field the title of “Champion”.
And here are the companies that obtained this important result through a synergy started up in 2015 with the “LU.ME. Project” for a joint commitment to the environment, culture and the growth of the territory: A.Celli Paper, A.Celli Nonwovens, Fabio Perini, Fapim, Fosber, Gambini, KME Italy, Rotork Fluid Systems, Sampi, Toscotec and Velan Abv.
The letter written by Federmeccanica to accompany the award states that recognition was awarded based on the assessment of the quality of the services offered in order to continuatively implement the culture of internal relations – something that represents the new frontier in human resource management. The visits and interviews made at the various facilities – continues the letter – focused on entrepreneurs, managers and employees, allowed us to highlight methods, actions and reference instruments and the way company personnel perceives them.
The next step of the project is to organize the various good practices on a national level in order to “place the business at the center as a common good and people at the center of corporate processes”.
