It's official: the first order of A.Celli automated warehouses has been confirmed!
A.Celli Nonwovens S.p.A. is delighted to announce the first agreement for the installation of an automated warehouse at a nonwovens plant. The order was placed by the customer "Texhong Textile Group Ltd." who decided to entrust us with the installation of our fully automated system for warehouse management and the preparation of rolls for shipping. The system will be installed at the plant in Vietnam.
Texhong Textile Group Ltd. is a Chinese company specialised in the production and distribution of high quality yarns and fabrics. It is currently one of the leading suppliers in the global textiles industry.
The order for the automated warehouse follows on from a previous order by the same customer for two rewinders and two automatic packaging/roll handling systems. With this important order A.Celli has taken responsibility for the entire downstream section of the production line: from wrapping-packaging and storage in the warehouse, including all data tracking, to preparation of the roll for loading.
The system is a customised solution that involves the use of AGV automated vehicles for handling master rolls and empty shafts in the production area, and for management of the rolls, from picking them up after packaging to placing them in the warehouse, and subsequent preparation of the load for shipment.
A.Celli Nonwovens has, therefore, proven again to be an excellent player in the Asian market capable of developing solutions that meet the disparate needs of customers, responding with flexibility and promptness to the many variables involved in production and logistics.
