Work to upgrade the roof of our Tassignano plant is now completed.
The A.Celli group has always placed a strong emphasis on safeguarding the environment: our common heritage that we are duty bound to protect and preserve. Although our work does not have a significant environmental impact, we are nevertheless always aware of this issue, and for this reason have carried out a series of improvements over the last two years which have now been very satisfactorily completed.
In particular, this has involved increasing the energy efficiency of the factory of A.Celli Paper by upgrading the roofing.
The operation (co-funded by POR CReO FESR Toscana 2014-2020, Tender D.D. 3171 of 16/05/2016 - Action Line 4.2.1a1) involved the replacement of the existing roof with insulated panels consisting of an upper layer of corrugated aluminium sheeting, a central core of Bs2d0 expanded polyurethane foam, and a lower layer of micro-corrugated galvanised sheeting.
To complete the work, the gutters, down-pipes, lifeline system and anchor points were also replaced, in line with current legislation concerning the risks of falling.
