A day spent inside the company, in the heart of its manufacturing activity, to see how a product is born and meet its protagonists close-up
The A.Celli Group was very pleased to be able to give its contribution to the latest edition of PMI Day, an event dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises organized by Confindustria (Confederation of Italian Industry) by receiving a group of students from the I.T.I.S. E. Fermi Technical-Industrial High School in Lucca at its facilities in Tassignano (A.Celli Paper S.p.A.) and in Porcari (A.Celli Nonwovens S.p.A.).
A group of high school seniors in all, just one step away from their debut in the professional world, had the chance to experience a full immersion in the company, seeing the offices and the workshop, discovering the wholesomeness and positive aspects of a world they knew only through books or television up until then, and that now they can personally get a flavor for – something that strengthens collaboration and dialogue between the educational and professional spheres of life.
Over 700 companies nationwide throughout the territory are participating for a total of 30,000 people, between students and teachers, involved. An important figure to be added to the overall 100,000 young adults who participated in the previous four editions.
Another noteworthy aspect of the A.Celli project that intends illustrating to what extent one’s work is fruit of concrete commitment and passion, inviting the new generations to look to the future with optimism, becoming its protagonists.
