Today we want to shed light on one of these, which is the knives and counter-knives refurbishment service.
The problem we are going to solve is the one related to the efficiency and integrity of these components, especially when the state of wear or general conditions reach a critical level.
The aim of A.Celli is to prevent the definitive breakage of knives and counter-knives and ensure the maintenance of their optimal operating conditions and the extension of their useful life.
The service, offered both for machines equipped with our SLITTOMATIC® system and for those that do not have it, is divided into four main phases:
- Disassembly of the cutting unit
- Check
- Maintenance
- Reassembly
During the check and maintenance phases are carried out activities like the replacement of the blades, the revision of the stator and the rotor of the counter-knives, the verification of the state of the pads and the revision of the wiring of the connectors, along with any other operation necessary to deliver you a cutting unit in perfect condition.
Depending on the actual use of the components under consideration, it is recommended, on average, to use the service every two years to maintain results over time.
